ERROR MESSAGES

MESSAGE 

MEANING / ACTION 

** QUALIFIER INVALID ** 

The qualifier which you have entered is not valid.  Valid 

qualifiers are: 

null 

the code of an existing PCO  

`I' or `I/Q' or `I/' followed by a specific HA 

Q code 

the NHS number of a patient on your HA's 

database 

`G/' followed by the local code of a GP on 

your HA's database 

PCO code fixed 

Once established, the National PCO code may not be 

amended. 

PCG CODE missing 

To enter  core  information for a PCO, a PCO Code is 

required.  

Enter a valid PCO code.

PCG CODE invalid 

A valid PCG code has the format `4AANN', where `A' 

is an alphabetic character and `N' is a numeric character 

(e.g. 4MR53). 

 Enter a valid PCG code.

PCT CODE invalid 

A valid PCT code has the format `5AA' or `5AN', 

where `A' is an alphabetic character and `N' is a 

numeric character (e.g. 5BN, 5K3, etc.). 

 Enter a valid 

PCT code.

CT CODE invalid 

A valid CT code has the format `TAA' or `TAN' or 

`TNA' or `TNN', where `A' is an alphabetic character 

and `N' is a numeric character (e.g. TFA, TG6, T4E, 

T91, etc.). 

 Enter a valid CT code.

LHB CODE invalid 

A valid LHB code has the format `6AN', where `A' is 

an alphabetic character and `N' is a numeric character 

(e.g. 6T1, 6Y7, etc.). 

 Enter a valid LHB code.

PCG CODE exists 

You have tried to enter  core  information for a new 

PCO, using a PCG Code which is already being used.  

Enter a different code for the new PCO.

PCT CODE exists 

You have tried to enter  core  information for a new 

PCO, using a PCT Code which is already being used.  

Enter a different code for the new PCO.

CT CODE exists 

You have tried to enter  core  information for a new 

PCO, using a CT Code which is already being used.  

Enter a different code for the new PCO.

LHB CODE exists 

You have tried to enter  core  information for a new 

PCO, using an LHB Code which is already being used.
