Chapter 8
Other Passages from the Old Testament
The Three Kings of Israel
The three kings of Israel Saul, David, and Solomon, represent three
periods of time in the Christian Church. The time represented by David's
reign is now. Solomon's reign represents the time from the end of the Forty
Years to the time of the ten kings. The Forty Years is from A.D. 2000 to late
2039 or early 2040. The reign of the ten kings is mentioned in the book of
Revelation (Rev 17:12) and begins in the 24th century (or perhaps as early as
the late 23rd century.
The House of the Lord
`Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands
next to me,' says the L
ORD
of hosts. `Strike the shepherd, that the sheep may
be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.'
(Zech 13:7; cf. Lk 13:1 2).
This passage refers to the early part of the Forty Years, as well as to the
time of the Church's great suffering in the 25th century. It predicts the
martyrdom of the Pope, the man who stands next to me, the shepherd of
the Church. This Pope is the second Pope after Pope John Paul II, the one
St. Malachy calls Peter the Roman. It also predicts the destruction of
Vatican City, the house of the shepherd of the Church. The phrase the little
ones refers to faithful Christians who will suffer and be persecuted,
beginning at that time. This passage, which predicts the future sufferings of
the Church, also  refers to the suffering and death of Jesus (Mt  26:31;
Mk 14:27). The attack on Rome, the capture of the Pope, and the
destruction of Rome and Vatican City occur in A.D. 2012 and 2013. The
Pope is captured in 2012, and Rome and Vatican City are destroyed in July
of 2013.
The same passage also refers to the events of A.D. 2430, when the Pope of
that time is killed and the center of authority (in Rome) and the center of
worship (in Jerusalem) are destroyed by the followers of the Antichrist.
During the war when the Arab nations attack Europe, Rome and Vatican
City will be completely destroyed (A.D. 2013). In the years that follow, the
Church will wish to rebuild the seat of the Church, a new Vatican City,
