Define Repository

This option allows you to define the 

repository

. You can define a local or remote 

repository

. See 

Repository Overview, page 7 23

, for detailed information. 

Procedure

Step 1

Select Administration > Software > Define Repository. 

Step 2

To define or redefine the Repository, complete the following:

Description

Repository

The host name or IP address of the 

Repository. For the local Repository, 

enter 

localhost

.

Port Number

The port number used by the software 

on the Repository. The default port 

number for the local Repository is 

9851.

Description

(Optional) A description of the 

Repository.

Step 3

Click Connect to Repository to verify that the host name and port number you 

entered are correct. If the data is incorrect, an error message appears.

Step 4

(Optional) Click Reset to restore previous settings.
