Configuring Server Load Balancing Services
Step 6
Click Save. Click on Cancel to return to the properties window.
A validation form appears if any validation errors occur. Click OK. Correct any 
errors and click Save again. 
Step 7
To delete a device service, click on the service and select Delete. 
A warning appears. 
Step 8
Click Delete.
A confirmation or an error message window may display depending on the 
outcome of the deletion task.
Creating a Probe
Procedure
Step 1
Select Configure  > Configuration.
Step 2
Click on the plus sign (+) next to the device name or IP address to expand the tree. 
The device modules will display under the device.
Step 3
Click on a device module to display the module property form.
Step 4
Click Create Probe to link a probe to this device module. The probe form 
appears.
Step 5
Enter the information into the form:
Field
Description
Probe Name
The name of the configured probe.
Probe Type
Type of probe for including 
HTTP
, 
ICMP
, Telnet, 
TCP
, 
FTP
, 
SMTP
, and 
DNS
.
Failed Interval
Number of seconds between health 
checks when the server has been 
marked as failed.
