Device Management
When you add a Cat6K Native IOS device, enter the login credentials for the IP 
addresses that you entered as device seeds.
Step 7
For Hybrid Catalyst 6000 Series devices you will need to enter the MSFC 
community string and click Next. Then enter the MSFC login credentials and 
click Next. 
Step 8
If you are adding a Catalyst 6000 device, the Card Credentials window appears. 
Click any module from the pane on the left side of the window to set credentials. 
This step does not apply to SSL or CSM modules. Click Next.
Note
If you have not viewed or set the credentials for each module on the list, 
a confirmation message will appear, asking you to confirm that you have 
made all the changes you want.
Step 9
The Validate Credentials pane displays. Select the check box if you want HSE to 
validate device credentials. Click Next.
Step 10
The Add Devices Summary window appears. Click Finish.
If an error occurred, enter the information into the dialog boxes again. 
Note
The device will be added to the Device Manager table. To refresh the 
Device Manager table and view your changes, click Refresh.
