Weather Information Service Interaction
The weather information service is a good example of a synchronous interac 
tion between a client and a service. When it receives a client's request, the weather
service must look up the required information and send back a response to the
client. This look up and return of the information can be achieved in a relatively
short time, during which the client can be expected to block and wait. The client
continues its processing only after it obtains a response from the service. (See
Figure 3.5.)
