GP SCREEN

Understanding  the Partnership Identity Details Screen 

NOTE 

  For non responsible GPs in partnership, only page 1 of this screen is available. 

P ship Name 

A free text field which will be shown on page 1 of the GD screen and on GD H/GP code 

(Historic screen) for each partner. 

When details of a current partnership are displayed, a pop up box is available from this 

field to display the PCT Code/Name and Practice Code/Name for the Senior Partner as of 

today's date.  For further details, see page 3 5. 

P ship Start Date

Ensure that the partnership start date is correct, as it will be used in the calculation of 

payments for claims and allowances. 

P ship Termination Date 

The partnership will have to be terminated if a partner joins or leaves, or if the senior 

partner changes. 

Transmit P ship Statement 

The method of partnership statement production.  Enter either: 

T

Transmitted to the GP practice, 

P

Printed, or 

B

Transmitted to the GP practice and printed. 

PMS Pilot 

Enter 

Y

 in this field if this Practice is paid under the Personal Medical Services (PMS) 

scheme, or 

N

 if paid under GMS. 

NOTE 

If the Partnership is part of a PMS Practice, the PMS Practice Code is 

displayed (read only), immediately beneath the PMS Pilot field. 

GP S ment 

The method of individual GP statement production.  Enter either: 

T

Transmitted to the GP practice, 

P

Printed, or 

B

Transmitted to the GP practice and printed.  

GP Code 

Up to 18 partners may be entered.  Apart from ensuring that the required senior partner is 

first, any order of GPs can be given.
