Align the memory module with the socket. The memory module is keyed to fit only one 

way in the socket.

Seat the module firmly into the socket by gently pressing down until it sits flush with the 

socket. The locking levers pop up into place. 

2.6   Installing the Processor and Cooling Fan 

Your Tomcat i7230A S5160 supports the latest processor technologies from Intel.  Check the

Processor Installation 

The processor should be installed carefully. Make sure you are wearing an antistatic strap and 

handle the processor as little as possible.

Follow these instructions to install your processor 

1. 

Locate the processor socket on the motherboard and lift the protective cover off as 

shown.
