Community Member Group
All the groups mentioned that their role in preventing trafficking of girls would be by
playing a lead role in sensitizing the community and making them aware of trafficking of
girls. They also said that their role in preventing trafficking of girls would be to interact
with their daughters about their problems, take complete information about the strangers
in the village, not to marry off their daughters early and in haste, and report suspicious
situations to the police, VDC and NGOs working for women in case a girl or girls are
likely to be trafficked.
