100 The Bible and the Future of the World
The Punishment of the Wicked
`But at that time Michael will rise up, the great leader, who stands up for
the sons of your people. And a time will come, such as has not been from
the time that nations began, even until that time.' (Dan 12:1).
Michael is the archangel Michael, who will defeat Antichrist. When the
Antichrist, in order to deceive the nations into worshipping him, undertakes
a false ascension, the archangel Michael smothers him and throws him
down to earth. The time that will come, unlike any previous time, could
refer either to the punishments of the Seven Bowls of God's Wrath, or to the
great time of peace and holiness on earth afterwards, or both.
Despite all the great suffering and punishments from God, every one
whose name is written in the book of life is saved by God. Even those who
have done much evil in their lives can repent and be saved. Those who are
saved will be delivered at this time.
The Number of Days
`And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and
the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two
hundred ninety days. Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one
thousand three hundred thirty five days.' (Dan 12:11 12).
The worst of the worst of the suffering for God's servants begins when the
Holy Eucharist is taken away and is replaced with the abomination, that evil
imitation of the most Holy Eucharist. This time of the Church's worst
suffering, the Church's Crucifixion, will last 1290 days. This is the 3 years
of the last half of the Antichrist's reign, after he is forced to retreat from
battle. Those who wait 45 more days, until 1335 days have passed, are
blessed because they will see the Return of Christ.
At the end of his reign, the Antichrist is thrown down to earth by the
archangel Michael. The Antichrist is badly wounded, but still alive. Later,
he is thrown alive, with the false prophet, into the fires of Hell. (I am not
certain if the Antichrist is thrown into Hell before the Seven Bowls of God's
Wrath, or after.) After the Antichrist is thrown down to earth, there are two
times periods for repentance. The first time period is 45 days (1335 minus
1290 equal 45). This is the space of time for repentance between the end of
the Antichrist's reign and the Return of Christ. Blessed are they who repent
during these 45 days, even before the Return of Christ. Blessed are they who
repent and believe before they see the Return of Christ. Then Christ will
return in great glory, visible to all the earth's inhabitants. Next there is an
additional time for repentance, during which Christ teaches and leads. Then
