From the Book of Daniel 91
going to war by having many allies and exceedingly good circumstances,
and yet these will not stand, for they will form plans against him. And those
who eat bread with him will crush him, and his army will be suppressed,
and very many will die, having been executed.'
In the year A.D. 2430, the Antichrist leads the kingdom of the North in a
great war against the kingdom of the South. Some Christians in the South
realize that he is the Antichrist, and they oppose him with strong words. The
Antichrist is enraged against the Christians of the South and their Christian
leader, the king of the South. The king of the South is told that this king of
the North is the Antichrist and that he will lose the battle (as foretold in
Sacred Scripture). But he goes to war because he has many allies and seems
to have every circumstance in his favor, and because he knows that, if he
does not go to war, the Antichrist will attack him anyway and defeat him
anyway.
The North and South begin to fight a great war, but the warfare is cut
short by deception and betrayal. The king of the South is defeated by
betrayals within his own ranks: those who eat bread with him are some of
his fellow Christians, who go to Mass with him and receive the Eucharist
with him, but who also betray him. Just as Judas betrayed Christ at the Last
Supper, so do some of his brethren betray him. The army of the South is
defeated, not on the battlefield, but by betrayal in upper ranks. As a result,
the better stronger army is defeated. The army of the South is suppressed
and very many people are executed they do not die in battle, but are taken
into custody and put to death by execution. In this way the Antichrist
defeats and captures the kingdom of the South without a prolonged war.
Antichrist Defeats Two More Kings (Dan 7:8.21 22.24 27)
`And the heart of two kings will be similar, to do harm, and they will
speak lies at one table, but they will not succeed, because as yet the end is
for another time.' (Dan 11:27).
The leaders of the other eight of the ten kingdoms of the world understand
how much power the Antichrist has amassed by taking control of both the
North and South, and by keeping both armies intact. But they are unwilling
to go to war because the North and the South have the two most powerful
and well developed militaries. The Antichrist was able to defeat the South
without a prolonged war that would have weakened both the armies of the
North and the South, so both military forces are still capable of applying
great force. Two of the other kings, one the king of the Meridian (Africa,
except for the northern most part) and the king of the East (including China
and other nations) decide to try to defeat the Antichrist with deception, not
open warfare. They speak lies at a table for negotiations or meetings with the
