Chapter 5      Configuring Devices
CSS VIP Redundancy
Procedure
Step 1
Select Configure > CSS VIP Redundancy. 
Step 2
From the TOC, click Critical Services.
Step 3
Click Add to select two redundant devices from the lists available. Click Next.
Remember to select devices with a common virtual router.
Step 4
Select a virtual router from the list, then click Next.
If no VR appears, you must configure your device using the ip virtual router 
command. See the CSS Redundancy Configuration Guide at 
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/contnetw/ps792/
products_configuration_guide_book09186a00801ee05c.html. Click Next.
Step 5
Select from the list of existing CSS services you wish to assign to this VR and 
move them to the list of assigned services. Click Next.
Step 6
Click Finish to accept the configuration on the Summary page.

Deleting CSS VIP Redundancy Objects
Procedure
Step 1
Select Configure > CSS VIP Redundancy. 
Step 2
To delete a virtual router, select one or more virtual router check boxes, then click 
Delete.
If the virtual router is in use by the VIP, it cannot be deleted. Remove the VIP 
redundancy before you can delete a virtual router.
