Editing a Service Chassis

This feature allows you to rename a service chassis or edit its IP addresses. 

Note

Your login determines whether you can use this option. 

Procedure

Step 1

Select Configure  > Service Chassis. The service chassis display in the left pane.

Step 2

To see the services that are grouped to the service chassis, click on the plus sign 

(+) next to the service chassis name or IP address. The IP addresses display below 

the chassis name or IP address. click on the plus sign (+) next to the IP address to 

see the real services.

Step 3

If you want to see the relationships of the services that use the service chassis, 

then select the service in the tree.

Selecting the real services shows the reverse configuration in the right pane. The 

selected real service is displayed in white and any virtual service that is affected 

is displayed in red. 

Step 4

To edit a service chassis' service, click Edit. The Edit Service Chassis 

Configuration window appears.

Step 5

Select the IP address from the dropdown list and click Select.

Step 6

To move an IP address into a service chassis group, select the IP addresses from 

the IPs column and click the up or down arrow. 

Step 7

To move an IP address out of a service chassis group, select the IP address and 

click the up or down arrow. 

Step 8

If you are editing more than one IP address, click Apply. This saves your changes 

and allows you to continue working in the Edit Service Configuration window.

If you have finished your service chassis configuration, click OK. A confirmation 

window appears. Click OK. This applies your changes and closes the window.
