Chapter 5 Configuring Devices
Viewing Provisioned Devices
Field Description
Weight
The weighting value for the virtual
server predictor algorithm. Higher
values indicate higher availability for
the server to do work.
Maximum Connections
The threshold value for the maximum
number of active connections that the
real server is assigned.
If the maximum number of
connections is reached, IOS SLB
automatically switches all further
connection requests to another server
until the connection number drops
below the specified limit.
Minimum Connections
The threshold value for the minimum
number of active connections that the
real server is assigned. (This will not
appear for CSM 3.x or later versions.)
Redirect Virtual Server
The virtual servers dedicated to real
servers.
This mapping provides connection
persistence for clients to real servers
across TCP sessions. (This will not
appear for CSM 3.x or later versions.)
