Running Device Discovery
Use this option to check on device discovery or add new devices using discovery.
Procedure
Step 1
Select Devices  > Device Management > Discovery. The Discovery Status table 
appears with the device status (see 
Discovery Details, page 4 26
).
Note
If a discovery is in process, the manual discovery will not run. To stop the 
discovery in process, go to Administration  > Diagnostics  > Processes, 
then select HSEANIServer and click Stop. To run a new discovery, click 
Start.
Step 2
Click Run Discovery Now to start a manual discovery.
Step 3
Click the number in the Total Devices column.
The right pane displays a table with all devices that have been discovered.
Step 4
Click the number in the New Device column.
The right pane displays a table with the new devices or a message that no new 
devices were found.
Note
You will only see device information about the devices, services, or 
interfaces allowed by your login.
