floppy=asus pci
Sets the bitmask to allow only devices 0 and 1. This is
the default.
floppy=daring
Indicates a  well behaved  floppy controller, which al 
lows the driver to provide more efficient and smoother
operation and will speed up certain operations. However
this may cause failures on some controllers.
floppy=one fdc
Tells the driver that you have only one controller. This
is the default.
floppy=[address,]two fdc
Indicates to the driver that there are two floppy disk
controllers and that the second controller resides at
address.
If address is not entered then 0x370 is
assumed.
floppy=thinkpad
Informs the driver that this is a Thinkpad and will
deal with the inverted disk change line used by these
machines.
floppy=0,thinkpad
Tells the driver that this is not a Thinkpad.
